"Ron, who is going to be our surrogate?" I asked on our way back from the hospital. They had successfully extracted my eggs.
"I don't know. The surrogate doesn't want any direct contact with us. She just wants to keep her connection with the hospital authorities only. We will be paying her through the hospital authorities," he said.
"Then how will we know if the baby is ours or not?" I asked.
"Well, they do a DNA test of the baby at birth. Only after confirming the DNA test results will they hand over the baby." So that makes sense.
"But why doesn't she want to meet us? Is she someone we know? Moreover, how did she agree without knowing whose baby she was going to bear? What if she had some communicable disease?" Numerous questions arose at once inside me and I could ask
