Fiona's POV
I looked around that small house which would barely have two rooms. There is a fence around the house, leaving very little land around the house. There are several houses of the same size in the neighbourhood. Ron had parked the car in the road itself. He seemed confident that no other vehicle would pass along the road. In a way, it is true, because I haven't seen any other vehicle while coming here. Ron came and took my hand and led me to the house. Whoever lives here is definitely poor to the extent that they can't even afford footwear. The slippers outside the house are torn to the extent that there is a hole in the place of the heels. Why did Ron bring me here? I wondered.
