I would like to thank Sandie Johnson and Ruth Finley for their support, encouragement, and feedback during the creation of this work. I have never met Ruth, but in the short time I knew her she was an inspiration, demonstrating resilience, determination and a positive attitude through very tough times. Following her example, I produced Murder in Myrtle Bay in record time, keeping her updated with my progress every step of the way. She did read the early chapters and gave them her stamp of approval. I wanted her to hold a copy of this book in her hands but sadly she passed away before that was possible.
