Chapter Five

2188 Words
Present: I gasp and my eyes fly open and Alex and the two officers that is in the examination room with me all look at me in surprise. "It's nothing." They don't look like they believe me, "look when you live for two thousand year, you see a lot of bad stuff. Especially when you are held captive for five hundres years." I say and look to Fran, who is still sitting in the interrogation room on the other side of the one-sided window. "You do realize that she can hear and see us, vampires can see through mirror, it's where the legend about how vampirs hate looking in mirrors came from. they can see their reflection just like humans but we can see behind the mirror too. It's how Bloody Mary came to be because vampires used to write messages behind mirrors in blood." They all look at me with their mouths hanging open. "Too much?" I ask with a smile on my face. "Well they are cops and you just said that to them." I hear Fran say under her breath. "Meh." I say nonchalantly with a shrug. "I'm not the one that left a boody count. Because I know how to control myself." I say as I look at Fran. I get up and go out on the examination room and into the interrigation room. "What? You going to try to scare me? You don't scare me." Fran asks in a tough voice. "Nope I'm going to go into your head." I say as I sit down across from her and grab her hand and bite down on her palm and she tried to pull away but I am stronger than her. I bite down on my free hand and put our wounds together and close my eyes and I go into her mind and dig through her memories and find all of the bodies and where they are buried, which is in the woods by Lake Regine. I dig deeper into her mind and after she turns she never once eats human food, which means that she will feed off more people and won't stop because she no longer feels what she felt when she used to be human. I pull my hand away because I feel her trying to go into my mind but I know how to block other vampires from doing that and because I am the oldest vampire around now. "Don't even try, you won't be able to." I say and sit back in my seat. "I know where the bodies are and I also know that after you were turned you never once are food." I wait for a reaction to come out of her. She throws herself over the table and I don't move an inch besides moving my hand and throwing her back before she gets near me. "I told you, I am faster, stronger, and older than you." I say as I stand up and walk over to her. "I am also not anywhere near as savage as you because I eat human food so that I don't lose what I felt when I was human." I slowly walk toward her some more. "Because I am the only oldest vampire around now." "How is that possible?" "The War?" I say questioningly because all vampires know about The War. "The War that broke out between the vampires, werewolves, werecats, witches, and faeries." I ask trying to see if that will ring a bell. "There are werewolves? And...... Did you say fairies?" "You seriously don't know about that?" I ask confused. "No, and I repeat my question, did you say fairies?" "Not the little itty-bitty pests, those are pixies, and I am talking about Elves, Ogres, Goules, Trolls, Pixies, Trooping Fairies, Brownies, Fauns, Merpeople, Leprechauns, Gnomes, Hobgoblins, Goblins, Grundles, Alvens, Ashrays, Avalon, Ballybogs, Banshees, Changlings, Clurichauns, Devas, Dryads, Weather Pixies, Irish Sea Water Gaurdians, Kelpies, Lady of the Lake, Nymphs, Salamanders, Seelie Court, Selkies, sprites, Will O'wisps, and Unseelie Court." I say trying to see if any of these sound familiar. "Wait Leprechauns are real?" Fran asks slowly. I motion to her chair. "Sit down and don't try anything stupid and pay attention, I'm going to give you a little history lession." Fran looks like she wants to object but I look her right in the eyes full on vampire mode. "I said sit down!" I say in a commanding voice and Fran does what I say, but instead of going over to the chair, she just plops right down where she is standing. I smile in satisfation. "Better." I say and I sit down in the chair facing her and with my elbows on my knees. "Witches, they are the first of any kind of people that weren't human, all witches feel darkness, it's just a matter of which witch falls into that darkness, some do and some resist. The first witch that had succumbed to dark magic was eight thousand years ago. She was who opened the gates to Hell, the first time and let demons run amok on Earth for three thousand years until her own kind was almost wipes out and she put them all back. SHe is the only witch who performed a spell that can undo that spell, unless someone was stronger than her then that one would have. No one was stronger than her because she was the first witch." I sigh and lean back in the chair and continue. "After the whole debacle with the demons and it was five thousand years ago, the first werewolves came to be, not by magic but because a ravaged and rabid wolf had bit a human and the wolf was injured and the blood of the wolf went into the human after being bitten and that was how werewolves came to be, werewolves can turn humans by being in wolf form, biting them, and touching their blood with the humans. But I'm missing something, werewolves are also considered Fae, and we can't forget about them, can we?" I lean forward again and lean my forearms onto my thighs and continue. "Fae has been around for ten thousand years. Okay, not here on earth per se, but they have been around that long, and five thousand years ago was when they were able to make a portal between their world and our world and came to Earth. For two thousand years they had to learn how to not stand out to humans and live among them. Some have to hids on different areas of Earth because they aren't able to blend in, like Trolls and Goblins tend to live in places where humans can't reach or don't try because it's too dangerous for them to try. "Twenty-five hundred years ago was when vampires came to be by dark magic combined with witch blood, demon blood, and human blood. Eventually that all went downhill when about fifteen hundred years ago The War broke out, and luckily for me and a few other vampires we were in a prison cell and didn't get caught in The War between all the races besides humans. Somehow, I don't know how, but somehow we were able to keep that war hidden from humans, and again I don't know how because the aftermath was like Hell on Earth again. "But then demons did get back onto earth, because the first witch had broken free from her prison and brought them back, it took five hundred years to get rid of the demons on Earth. I'm pretty sure there are still some around, they are just well hidden now. Now back to me, I am one of the oldest vampires still alive, because of me being two thousand years old. The other oldest vampire is thirteen hundred years old. I had turned her but not on purpose because I dodn't know how to turn someone, but you already know how vampires are turned since you are one. "Now back to the Fae, there are thousands of different species of Fae but they all go by Fae, it's an unwritten rule to not ask a Fae what they are, because it's an intimare knowledge of which one they are. There are Furies and you need to be careful with them because they can burn your eyes by looking them in the eyes while they are pissed, trust me I've met one, but then again I've also met a Troll, a Changling, a Leprechaun, and they are nasty little buggers, I've also me a Clurichaun, which they are like the cousins of the Leprechauns but nicer and they are the ones that bring good fortune, instead of stealing it. "I've also met a Mermaid, she was pretty cool except for when she sang, becuase that can enthral someone, it's how the whole, sailors dying to the songs of the Mermaids legend came to be, and that's about all the Fae I've met. Oh I have met a werewolf once, but that was a thousand years ago and he had to teach me the history because I had killed the vampire that had turned me when I 'woke'" I do air quotes, "up. So, yeah that's about all the history of the magical world is, and from what I've heard, we are on a brink of another war between the races again." I lean back in the chair and watch Fran for any kind of reaction. Her mouth is hanging open and I don't even have to look to the mirror to know that the others have their mouth open agape from my little history buff. I shrug my shoulders and stand up after a bit. "Oh, I almost forgot to tell you the most important part, vampires, not any more, but vampires have the ability to mind-control, enthralling, and have kids, I can do those things because I was one of the first vampires, but now a days vampires can't do those things." "What do you mean vampires could have kids?" Fran asks. "Vampires never really die, when they are turned, they are on the brink of death but they are forced to drink the blood of a vampire to be turned. And yes some are buried, because they appear dead, but they aren't really dead. I was buried, I had to crawl out of a grave, that happens sometimes. I watched my family from afar, I watched as they grew old, had kids of their own, and live a life without me. "I watched as my little brother and baby sister grow up without me, I was turned on my nineteenth birthday. How is that for a birthday present? My mother was falling ill and I went outside to get some fresh air, I was attacked from behind. I felt him sink his teeth into my neck and him not just biting like normal because if a vampire does it right, they can make it confortable for them as they are being turned but he was tearing my skin off. So it hurt, then he r***d me and turned me, I was buried, and a year later I woke up and crawled out. "As soon as I crawled out I went to my house, saw my parents and siblings from afar and then he appeared and tried to explain himself, he gave me the story that he turned me because I looked like his dead wife, that he killed, by the way, because he drank her blood after he woke up. That really pissed me off and I pushed him against a tree, drank his blood, and that was when I found out that from drinking the blood from another vampire, I get to see their memories, and then I ripped his heart out and watched as he burned. "That happens when vampires die, they burn until they are just ash after they are killed. I went into a house not far from there went in, washed up, and had my first taste of human blood from this couple and then I went to the Prince and I had been his s*x and blood slave for three centuries before I killed him." "Why were you his s*x and blood slave?" "Because honey, life back two thousand years ago, women didn't exactly had it easy. If they tried to live on their own they were either beaten by the king or r***d or were taken out of the home they were staying at and were put into an adult foster care, it was hell for women back then and it was either be with the Prince or warrant the wrath of a king who was power hungry and killed women for sport." I am getting so mad that an England accent is coming out, I was born in the UK. "Warrant? Falling ill? What are we, back in the thirteen hundreds?" Fran asks. "You are talking to someone who is two thousand years old, you bloody fool." I say getting pissed off. I walk out of the room before I get too angry.
