A-3032

The forest

It's about to be noon. I made breakfast for my family. I have two kids, one boy and one girl; their names are Ollie and Nollie. My wife left me about a year ago, and I don't particularly appreciate talking about it, so ill move. My kids are about to go to school; it's pretty hot out. I have them wear shorts and t-shirts. As they leave, I hear a noise. It's high pitch. Lights start flashing. Everything is getting tossed around like zero gravity. I begin to float as well. The lights start getting brighter, and the noise starts to get louder, and nothing.

I wake in an extraordinary place I don't know how to explain. It's like a dense forest. It looks like it's been here for a while. The plants are very colorful; where are my kids? and had everything cleaned and refurbished my whole house. I don't see anyone else at all. I don't understand what happened a second ago. Well, I'm going to find something in my surroundings. What's going on? I don't get the hole seen at all. There is not anything I understand, I look for people, but it's too dense to see anything. I need to make a shelter and find something to eat or a water source. If there is a water source, ill find something edible too. But what direction should I go? I'll need to start walking, so I picked up some rocks I found on the ground, so I can mark where I was and make a trail behind me.

A couple of hours go by, and I finally found a little pond with little animals that kind of look like frogs. They don't exactly look like them, but I've already wasted all my energy trying to get here, so I'm going to catch one to see if they're even edible. I take a decent-sized rock, like the size of my hand. And I throw it at one of the small animals. I missed it, but I'll need to try again. So I find another rock to try again. But I missed it again. I tried about 23 times, and I keep failing. And I'm starting to feel dizzy.

Hay get up; get up, I said. What's that, I burst awake looking at a female? She said that I need to eat or I'm going to die. What's going on, I ask? Just shut up and eat; I've been trying to wake you since I found you. Okay, okay, what is that. Don't ask; the girl said you need to eat it! I look at the food that I Presume is food. It seems kind of like seaweed, and I smell it; it's like murky water. I take a nibble. Oh my, it tastes so good. I eat it so fast I don't even taste it anymore.

What was that, I ask? As I said, you don't want to know. What's your name? the girl asked? I don't know; I don't remember anything. All I remember is a loud noise and flashing lights. What's your name? the boy asked? A-1150. Ok, why is it that? I woke up just like you, not knowing where I was or anything; I had a bracelet that said A-1150. So that's my name. You have a tattoo on your neck it says A-3032. Oh, what's weird. Back to my question, where are we? Wear at my shelter a little south of that pond we were at that you blacked out. I made it one year ago.

Wow, you've been here that long? A-3032 said Yea; I don't know what year it is or anything. Said A-1150, And you're the first person I've seen since then.

I'm delighted you found me, or I would probably be dead said A-3032. I need to catch more food and clean it said A-1150. Ok, I won't go anywhere. No, can you get more wood and start a fire for me when I get back. Yea, sure said A-3032. A-1150 grabs her makeshift hunting now; she goes on her way to find food. While she is hunting in the thick woods, A-3032 tries to find dry wood that's dry enough to burn, but everything is soaking wet. At this point, A-1150 is slowly tracking an unknown animal that she shot. There is some noise coming from the area she shot the animal. As she gets closer to the animal, something jumps out of the bushes and attacks her. She quickly grabs her napped knife and stabs it as hard as she can, but it doesn't help anything. She tries few more times, and the animal finally runs away in pain. She's severely injured.

A-3032 has the fire going for a while and a starting to worry about A-1150. He starts gathering some supplies to find her. And as he's living, she comes back limping. Oh my God, what happened to you A-3032 asked. I got attacked by an animal. It was huge, Like a big dog. I need to find some medicinal plants; I don't even know anything about the plants here. They're all different from back then, said A-1150.

Let's get something to put over the bleeding before I leave you to find some plants to heal you. Still, right now, you need to layover there on your makeshift bed; A-3032 said after I wrap A-1150 up with some fibrous leaflets, I quickly make a makeshift sling-like one from the story about David and Goliath. A-3032 checks out A-1150; she's passed out, but she's still breathing. So A-3032 started heading to the west of the shelter. He was placing leaflets that were the color of bright red on the trees. I need to figure out what plants are going to have healing aspects. As he was walking, he tripped down a hole and broke his left-hand pointer finger. Ouch, he screams in pain.

It's so cold, A-3032 said. I feel the ground. It's like metal. I start using the red leaflets as a light source. It's an artificial structure. Wow, this is the first time I've seen a structured building since I've been here. It's so dark down here. Should I go down the corridor or leave? I don't know what I should do. I'll walk down a little bit more and see what's down here. There might be some medical supplies. I'm feeling the walls to feel for a doorway. There I found one, and I entered. It's so hard to see wish I had something like a flashlight. I start feeling around and looking closely with the leaflets, and I find some matches, but they are way too old to work.

I found an excellent backpack to use it's big and has lots of pockets. I check the pouches, and there was a medicine that would help with the pain. So I start rushing back to the shelter. I try to climb out of the hole I fell in. It's slippery and vigorous to get out, but I managed okay. Now I'm tripping over myself, trying to get back to A-1150. It takes me about 30 minutes. When I get back, I try to wake A-1150. She's so out of it, but I try to get a response. I keep trying, but I get exhausted and pass out myself.
