She was exhausted or rather tired during the long meeting with the council. As the Queen she had to oversee the issue concerning her Kingdom. The Council had enlightened her of some of the shortage of grains from the farmers last month. “Beckon had been the major supplier of grain. How could there be a shortage when they receive from the treasury?” asked an elder. All attention was on Elder Adam. He was the Minister in charge of aliment, that is the supply of food, and of course, livestock. He cleared his throat, feeling cornered by their questioning gaze. “Some of the farmers had reported an outbreak of a pest that devours the grain before it sprouts to maturity.” He said, explaining the crucial situation at hand.
