Sarmatia clad in green decorations, filled with joyful hearts and full stomachs, made merry beyond what they usually do. Though they planned for a small celebration due to the loss, the people did otherwise as the party started. Everything was green, to signify the harvest, down to the clothes worn. The ladies went as far as colouring their lips green, with flowers in their hair. Children painted their faces, drawing trees and fruits. Men were apt in green fabric, exquisite and handsome.
