*Kelvin's POV* The rooftop bar was packed with Walters Enterprise employees celebrating the Henderson project milestone. Music pulsed, drinks flowed, and voices rose in celebration. We'd hit our second major deadline two weeks ahead of schedule, and George Walters had spared no expense on this evening event. I stood near the bar, nursing a drink I barely touched, my eyes tracking Helen across the room. She was talking with Grace and Victoria, laughing at something, the city lights from the windows catching in her hair. God, she was beautiful. We'd been circling each other for weeks now-coffee breaks, late-night work sessions, dinners that felt like dates but we called coordination meetings. Everyone in the office saw it.
