Reyna's POV
Franklin realizing that Reyna had escaped with her mates, furious he went rushing hastingly towards the Chief of the Outpost And upon he stood and strangled him barking out words
“Twice,under your watch, she escaped, What kind of leader are you!!” Franklin said as he tightened his grip around the Chief's neck
“p..please.. please we will find her” The Chief said in a muffled tone
“you better do, I give you till high noon” Franklin said as he stormed out after releasing his grip on the Chief's neck.
He gazed at me with a piercing intensity, his eyes searching for any sign of deception. "Tell me the truth, Reynaa," he urged, his voice low and gentle, yet firm.
"I know you're not okay. I can see it in your eyes.”I hesitated, unsure how much to reveal.
