The Alpha of Linerva was gladdened at the news that Reyna and her mates have been recaptured, he walked as if the whole world was for his taking and he decided severally on what punishment he will make them see for their defiance and disrespect.
I was Entwined in the warmth of their love and concern, my tension melted away, replaced by a deep sense of belonging. Gerald, Irvin, and Liam gather around me, their eyes shining with emotion.
"We were so worried about you, Reyna," Gerald said, his voice trembling. "We've missed you so much."
Irvin nodded in agreement. "We thought we'd lost you. But here you are, and we're not letting you go again."
Liam's eyes brim with tears. "We've been searching for you everywhere. We werestarting to lose hope."
