My eyes were red and puffy from crying, and my face was streaked with tears. I looked up at Gerald, Irvin, and Liam, and tried to speak, but my voice cracked.
Gerald immediately went to my side, concern etchedon his face. Reyna, what's wrong? What happened?"
I took a deep breath, trying to compose myself. "It's the Linerva Alpha, he was my former mate" I said, my voice shaking. "He's been sending me messages, saying he knows my biological parents and that he wants to take me to them." I said in a low but audible tone
