Gerald's POV
We were making their way out of the SilverStone Pack's territory, our hearts fixed on rescuing Reyna from the Linerva Pack. As we approached our pack's border, we encountered the Guard Captain and the young boy Reyna had saved.
"Where are you all going?" the Captain asked, his eyes narrowing suspiciously.
We exchanged uneasy glances. We hadn't intended to be stopped, and we certainly didn't want to reveal our mission.
"We're just…out for a run," I said hesitantly.
The Captain raised an eyebrow And asked. "At night? Without telling anyone? I don't think so."
Irvin stepped forward, his eyes locked on the Captain. "We're going to get Reyna back," he said finally, his voice low and determined.
