Reyna's POV
My eyes fluttered open, groggily taking in my surroundings. I was met with the beeping of machines and the sterile smell of a hospital room.
But it was the familiar faces of my mates, Irvin, Gerald, and Liam, that made my heart skip a beat. They were seated in chairs around my bed, their eyes fixed on me with varying degrees of concern and relief.
Irvin had a concerned expression, but he seemed calm and was the first to speak up.
“Reyna thank the moon goddess you're awake. We were worried sick about you.” he said calmly
Gerald leaned closer, his hand holding mine tightly as if never wanting to let go. "We've been here the whole time, waiting for you to come back to us."
He revealed with a hint of a smile. I couldn't help but smile
