Reyna's POV
I didn't react as I expected, and he remained oddly quiet even after the revelation of my plans. Was he doubting me? I wanted to know what he was thinking? My eyes locked on his face with a determined glint in her gaze.
Perhaps I should explain further. "I've been thinking a lot about my place here, in your pack," I began, my voice firm and resolute.
I could see his expression changing as he looked curious. "I've realized that I want to be more than just a guest, more than just someone who is protected and provided for. I would like to be strong enough to protect myself and my baby"
