Reyna's POV
I rested comfortably on his chest, my ear pressed against his heartbeat. His arms wrapped around me, holding me close as we laid together on the bed.
The warmth of his body enveloped me, making me feel safe and protected.My hand absently played with the buttons on his shirt, my fingers tracing gentle patterns.
His hands stroked my hair, his touch sending shivers down my spine. "Why are you still awake?" He asked, and I was quiet intentionally for the longest part of a second.
"You should go back to sleep. It's going to be dawn soon, and you know you need enough rest to prepare for the training today," he reminded me, sounding a bit concerned.
