I winced as the doctor tended to my wounds, but my mind was focused on gathering information, as a doctor myself adminstering treatment but never taking it.
"Thanks for patching me up, Doc. How long have you been with the pack?"
The doctor, a kind-eyed woman named Annastasia,smiled warmly.
"Let's see... I've been here for about 30 years now. I was brought in by the former Alpha himself. He was looking for a medic with my particular... skills."
My curiosity was piqued. "Skills? What kind of skills?"
