Gone Girl
Instead of driving me home, I ask Asher to drop me over at White Rabbit. It’s already evening although I know Hera wouldn’t be coming in until much later. I assume she’s still at Randy’s so when Asher drops me off, I decide to take a walk over there. It takes me only a couple of minutes before I am standing in front of the motel. I remind myself that this is the first time I’m doing this. I’ve never come to look for her here before.
