Liam Harper's day began even before dawn. The dawn met him awake on his bed, with a laptop, his mind already racing with the day's agenda. Each day welcomed him to the restless world he lived in. But he couldn't complain. The benefits were higher than the efforts put into getting and retaining it. Liam’s mornings seemed scheduled. A quick shower, a meticulously prepared breakfast of egg whites and avocado toast, and a brief review of the latest market reports set the tone for his day. As the CEO of Hexadigital Innovations, a leading tech company at the forefront of biotechnology, his entire life was scheduled. By seven o'clock, Liam was in the backseat of his sleek black sedan, reviewing documents on his tablet as his driver navigated the busy streets. Hexadigital Innovations stood towering in its glass and steel structure, dominating the city with its elegance. Liam's gaze briefly flickered to the towering structure before returning to his work. The office boozled with several activities. Everyone was about, doing their duties faithfully, understanding the gravity of the consequences, if caught doing otherwise. As Liam entered the building, greetings rang from each corner. His presence commanded respect and order. His reputation as a demanding and unyielding leader was well-deserved. “Good morning Liam” his assistant, Emily, greeted cheerfully, taking the briefcase in his hands while trying to catch up with his pace as she walked to his office. Upon getting to his office, she helped set everything up while Liam settled down for the day. After which, she handed him a cup of coffee, precisely as he liked it—black, no sugar. "Morning, Emily," Liam replied to her earlier greeting, his focus already on the series of meetings lined up for the day. "What's first on the agenda?" "We have a board meeting at eight to discuss the quarterly earnings. After that, you're meeting with the R&D team to review the latest developments in our biotech projects. And there's a lunch meeting with potential investors from Asia," Emily recited. "Make sure everything is set up for the board meeting. I want a flawless presentation," Liam instructed, his voice a blend of authority and expectation. "Already done, sir," Emily replied with a confident smile. She had been with Liam long enough to anticipate his needs and demands. “I trust you. You're dismissed.” Liam said, turning to his laptop, while Emily walked out of his office. Liam's office was satisfactory. It had sleek furniture, modern art, and a panoramic view of the city, set the way he loved it. He began getting set for the meeting. The board meeting was critical. The company's performance over the last quarter had been stellar, but Liam knew there was no room for complacency. A few minutes later, the meeting proceeded with quick precision. Liam led the discussion. In his analytical way, he dissected every subject of discussion. The board members, a mix of seasoned executives and sharp-eyed investors, hung on his every word. They knew that Liam's leadership was the driving force behind Hexadigital's meteoric rise. "Q2 has surpassed our expectations. But we all know that we cannot afford to rest on our laurels." Liam stated. His gaze seemed to be fixed on every face in the room, at the same time. "Our competitors are closing in, and we must stay ahead. Our focus will be on expanding our biotech division and securing more partnerships." The board members nodded their heads in unison, each one bringing up new propositions to expand the company. If Liam demanded excellence, they were more than ready to deliver. The meeting was finally wrapped up, and the morning time was spent on it, as discussions were finalized. Finishing with that, Liam got set for the lunch meeting he had next. He needed to meet up with the R and D team, to see how far they had gone. As the afternoon wore on, Liam found himself in the R&D lab, surrounded by scientists and engineers. He listened intently as the team presented their latest breakthroughs, his mind already calculating the potential impact on the market. "This is impressive work," Liam remarked, examining a vial of newly developed nanobots. "But we need to accelerate the timeline. Our competitors won't wait, and neither can we." The head of the R&D team nodded, understanding the urgency in Liam's voice. "We'll push the team harder, Mr. Harper. We'll meet the deadline." Liam nodded in acknowledgment, as he kept examining the newly developed technologies. He knew he could trust them. Leaving the lab with a sense of satisfaction, Liam was confident and grateful for his achievement so far. Hexadigital was on the back of something extraordinary, and he was determined to see it through. He returned to his office, with no more meetings in sight for the day, but ready to tackle the next challenge, when Emily entered with a concerned look on her face. “What's the matter, Emily?” Liam asked concerned, hoping it wasn't beyond what he could fix. “You need to see this sir” she replied, handing over the tablet in her hands to him. Liam’s brows furrowed and his face went pale instantly, his eyeballs almost popping out of their Sockets. “This can’t be!” He thought as his eyes continuously ran through the article Emily had Give him to see. “Scandal Rocks Hexadigital: CEO Liam Harper Accused of Affair with Senator’s Ex-Wife.” His Blood ran cold, as his jaw tightened.
