Some time ago it took brutal terror to indoctrinate people into conscious breeding. Nowadays they were all sure of its righteousness, because they were taught since early years that it was all for common good. The army and police helped to create job posts for scientists and constructors, and those were the ones who invented and built the safe and sterile world. The basic rule of it was “Stick to the law and you will not get into trouble.” And trouble meant as bad as going to jail and staying there permanently. It was impossible to run, it was impossible to hide, so people quickly learned to stay straight to the rules. The only remnant of the Dark Times was the irrational, subconscious revulsion of those wearing uniforms.
