Chapter 4
The day went by quickly for Chris. They worked out of his house for a few hours before Dylan dove back into the threats against Chris. While Dylan went to meet with Charity Grobin’s boyfriend and Ron sat on the sofa with his concentration on a laptop, Chris went to shower and then get ready for his date.
Chris fastened his jeans as he stood in the closet, wondering which shirt to wear for his date with James. It needed to be something comfortable, but not too casual; something nice to dress up his jeans. This was a date and he wanted it to feel like one. He’d looked forward to this night all week, but now he was nervous. Although he and James had decided that it would be easier for everybody if they had dinner at Chris’s house, the night held the promise of so much more.
