Chapter 31 While they ate dinner, Ron sat on the sofa, his gaze never leaving his plate. Dylan sat at the bar, scrolling through pages on the laptop, blindly putting food in his mouth. Chris sat at the table, stirring his beef broccoli dinner around the plate some before deciding to scrape it back into its container and put it in the fridge. He checked his phone, then slid it into his pocket. It’d been over an hour since James had texted and he wished James would just show up. He needed to know that James wasn’t still angry with him and that their relationship still had a chance. The thought made his stomach tighten.
