Williams “f*****g s**t,” I mumbled to myself on the plane. There's nothing worse than going back home as a disgraced i***t. I had been discarded, I thought. My benefactor was nowhere to be found; Lee was dead, and Ambrose wasn’t even picking up his calls. I still had to wait over two months before the ship would arrive in the United States, which made things, for lack of a better word, miserable and dangerous for my well-being.
