Michelle “What do you want? Which one?” she asked. I raised my eyebrows. I had no idea what she was talking about. “What do you want exactly?” The skinny woman folded her bony arms across her nonexistent breasts. “The strongest one you have,” I said. “I’m hurting right now.” “So, you want more stuff? You want something that can dull the pain?” she asked, stepping aside. “Come on. I’ve got you covered.” I followed her in, my eyes briefly glancing back at the strange man who was now inching closer to the floor with each passing second.
