CHAPTER 48: A PROMISE
Nick packed his car in front of the apartment he was sharing with Lian and the darkness was an indication that he wasn't home either. He got into the house before locking the door, Nick could feel his weight pressing against he is legs causing him to collapsing on the couch. He had a very stressful day, looking for his friend was one, then being forced and threatened by Cobi's father to take up a case against his best friend was the worst of it all, he knew he was never going to do it but he feared the outcome that Mr Greber will bring out for his refusal.
