TOXIC OBSESSION

ANNE

Lian woke up with a splitting headache from getting drunk the previous night, he look around nothing was familiar around the room, the last thing he remembered was drinking with his friends, he sat straight on the bed as his mind wandered around as he pulled the cloth he was covered with and discovered he was not wearing the same clothes from yesterday.

What's going on his thought to himself as he tried to remember what happened yesterday, suddenly his memory came rushing back into his head, from when he refused to go with his friends till his confession to Cobi, he held his head in shame

"No! No!! No!!!" he exclaimed

" I didn't do that No!, how could I say that?", he rolled on the bed kicking his legs like a toddler who did get what he wanted, Another memory rushed into his head and it was that of him kissing Cobi,

"ahh I kissed him" he cried out regretting his decision to drink,

"this means that this is he's house, I have to get out of here before I ran into Cobi, I don't think I have the guts to face him" Lian started looking for his clothes around the room but he couldn't find them, he saw his phone on the bedside table and picked it, he slowly walked towards the door that lead toward to the exist of the room and placed his ears to check if anyone was outside, everywhere was silent, he opened the door slowly and stepped outside carefully in order not to make any noise, as he turned around he was short of words because Cobi's house was a lot bigger than his and the furnitures showed Cobi's family had money because they were very expensive, he got lot as he stood at the edge of the stair way admiring the beauty before him he forgot all about his mission.

"Do you like it" a familiar voice asked Lian was shocked he wasn't expecting to see Cobi, he wasn't ready to face him right now,

"Yes, it's beautiful" he tried his best to avoid eye contact with Cobi, he played with his finger hoping something or someone would save him, Cobi noticed his gestures and smiled he knew Lian remember everything from yesterday, he reached for Lian's faced with his hand and slowly turned it to his direction, looking directly into Lian's eye, Lian heart picked up its pace, he couldn't understand but everything touch from Cobi gave his butterflies.

"You were a lot more confident yesterday, where is that Lian?" he leaned forward towards Lian's face, Lian who was already more red than the color its self, he was trying broking the eye contact, his breathing pattern changed, he was almost struggling for both air and words to reply Cobi with.

"I don't understand what you're talking about" he lied as the word rolled out of his mouth little by little and as the same time maintaining his breath, Cobi leaned in more and made the staring more intense like he was staring right into Lian's soul,

"you one thing I love" he asked as he moved his hand to Lian's lips as he used his fingers to squeeze them which Lian melt,

"I love to punish liars" he continued rubbing Lian's lip while biting his own, Lian found it hard to breathe,he didn't understand why Cobi's touch affected him so much,

"So I want you to tell me again everything you said yesterday now that you are sober, so I can give you my answer" he slowly removed his hand from Lian's lips moving it to he chest, Lian knew from the moment he met Cobi that he really wanted him, he could feel it and wanted to give him a try. Lian lowered his head trying to find the courage to repeat his words, Cobi didn't want him to look away he lifted Lian's head once again and gave Lian a friendly smile as a signal to continue.

"w... e...l..l what.. I said w...as.. I li..." Lian was interrupted by the door bell which gave him a relief but the look on Cobi's face was the opposite,he was irritated they were been interrupted.

"Stay right here, I'll be back" Lian nodded in reply to Cobi's request.

But before Cobi could get to the door a tall, light skin girl walked in with a key in her hands, her face lighte up when she saw Cobi.

" babe I missed you" the strange girl yelled as she ran over to give Cobi a hug, Cobi pushed her off him in an aggressive manner, that Lian was scared that she would get hurt due to the manner Cobi pushed her, the young lady in question was beautiful, she had a shape like that of a model, everything was perfectly placed, Lian stood where he was showing the drama.

" What are you doing here and how did you get my keys?" the disgusted look on Cobi's face grew more,

" Is that the way to welcome your girlfriend" she made little step towards him, Cobi chuckled,

" Did you just call yourself my girlfriend" he added as he rolled his eye

" Look I don't have time for your rubbish, please leave, as you can see I have a guest" Cobi pointed towards Lian direction who was still watching the entire show, she smiled and waved at Lian ,

" Hi I'm Anne, and I'm his girlfriend and soon to be fiance" she smiled,

"I'm Lian, I'm his friend, nice to meet you" Lian waved back, Anne was shocked to hear Lian say he was Cobi's friend because he was very much antisocial

" Can you leave now" Cobi said is a straight face, the sight of Anne irritated him, she was part of the reasons he life was messed up, she and he father couldn't let him breath in his own skin , plus was she ruining his time with Lian

" Leave? but I just got here, well no need to be all demanding, I'll be out of your hair soon, I just came to relate message as well but I really missed you"

" Can just say it and leave, please" Cobi asked

" Well after the stunt you pulled at the party yesterday your dad is furious and wants to see you I have no ide...." Anne was cut off by Lian's phone that rang,

" Sorry, excuse me" Lian said as walked away give Cobi and Anne privacy,

" You know he looks kind of familiar but I can't place where I saw him, hmm" Anne was trying to recollect any memory of Lian

" Can you leave now I already got your message, so leave" Cobi pointed to the direction of the door, Anne rolled her eyes as she walked out, Cobi breathe a sign of relief as he watched Anne leave.

Cobi climbed up the stairs as he walked towards Lian's direction,

" sure I'll , how's dad doing?" Cobi could hear Lian's voice as he got closer to him, he stood Lian admiring him, a mischievous smile creped onto his face,

" Alright mom, I'll see you when I get back home" with that he ended the call, he a few minutes trying breathe as he cleaned the tears from him eyes , he turned around to be faced with Cobi, he was a bit startled, he was expecting to see Cobi..

" How long have you been standing there and where is your guest, are you not suppose to be with her" he asked playing with his fingers

" Well she left , you're my guest not her, so how about you go shower and we have breakfast before you leave" Lian agreed, Cobi lead Lian to his room and gave him a change of clothes.

Cobi had no idea of what he was doing in the kitchen all he wanted was to impress Lian

" Breakfast is served hope you like it, I'm not much of a cook" he explained as he set the plate down on the table

" Well that explains the mess you made" Lian chuckled pointing to the mess in the kitchen

" I just wanted to do something special for you" Cobi rubbed the back of his head with his hand out of embarrassment, Lian thought it was sweet of him to try at least.

" let's eat" Lian said in excitement but his facial expression changed as he set eyes on the food he couldn't tell if it was edible or not but he didn't want to disappoint Cobi who was waiting for his feedback on the meal, with his spoon he put the food in his mouth, immediately the food touched Lian's mouth he froze for a minute before chewing the food, he tried so hard to smile while chewing but his taste buds just couldn't let him, even his throat wasn't ready to accept the food but eventually did, his eye met with Cobi's who was anxious about the result of his creation,

"Wow, this is really good, I love it" but his facial expressions betrayed him,

" you don't have to lie to, I know its bad, how about we go out to eat then I'll drop you home?" Cobi offered

" yes that would be nice"

" just give me minute , I'll go get dressed".

FEW MINUTES LATER

Lian came down fully dressed in a black pants and a yellow sleeveless top, showing his fine toned muscles, Lian was lost in Cobi's hotness,

" Do you like what you're seeing" his voice brought Lian back to reality, he rubbed his hands together

" Why does he have to be so straight forward" Lian said to himself,

" Shall we" Cobi asked as he picked his car keys from the table, Lian lead the way outside while Cobi followed him behind.

After driving for a while Cobi finally parked the car in front of a fancy restaurant, they both walked into it, Lian noticed the placed was a bit empty which was a bit strange for such a place, the waitress walked up to them and greeted them , she took them to their table.

" Is it usual this empty" Lian asked Cobi who was going through the menu , everything on the menu was expensive Lian tried looking for something he could afford to pay for

" No, but it is just for now" he smiled as he gave the waitress his order,

" Just for now?, why?" Lian also placed his order,

" Well, for starters I'm not comfortable with crowds" Cobi answered as he adjusted on his sit,

" But we were at a club last night" Lian wanted to understand,

"I had to endure it because I was with you" he winked at Lian

" Great there he goes again" Lian whispered to himself.

" Can you not worry about the price of the food , it's my treat " Cobi said as he watched Lian struggle to pick out what to eat

After a few minutes their meal arrived, they ate and discussed for a few minutes until Cobi's phone rang he pulled it out of his pocket, as soon as he saw the caller his expression went sour, he declined the call and continued eating but the call came again,

" pick it, maybe its important"

" its not ,trust me"

he declined it again, and continued with his meal, his phone beeped indicating a message came in, he signed as he opened it, his expression became worse than before,

*if you don't want your lovely friend to go missing, be here in 10 mins*

he took a deep breath as he ran his hands through his hair with a worried look on his face

" are you okay, is there a problem" Lian asked he didn't understand what was happening.

" Everything is great, are you done ? so we can go, I'm sure Nicolas is missing you a lot "

he smiled pulling out his card from his pocket

" Yes I'm done" Lian could tell he wasn't comfortable anymore, Cobi paid for the meal and drove Lian to the bus station because he insisted he could go home on his own, he packed his car in front of the bus stop, He took Lian's hand

" I'm sorry about what happened earlier, I have something urgent to take care of" Lian just smiled and nodded in response

" oh and next time I'll make sure you repeat your question" he gave Lian a I did not forget look, which made Lian disappointed he thought he forgot, he opened the door of the car and came out , he watched as Cobi drove off.

Lian turned and walked to sit waiting for the bus to arrive, he got home and stood in front of the building, after staring for a while he took a deep breath before walking into the building, he opened the door hoping not to see Nick but Boom there stood his nosy best friend with a mischievous smile plastered all over his face.

"Deeds now" nick said as he walked towards his friend,

" is that the first thing you say, you haven't seen me all morning and that's the first thing you ask?" Lian rolled his eye as he sat on the couch

" Fine, Good morning my lovely sweet, pretty bestie, now talk, I'm listen" Nick said as he took his own position on the couch,

"I'm tired, we will talk about this later" Lian stood up about to leave but nick dragged his back

"Hell no you're not going anywhere till you tell be everything"

"well there's nothing to tell, now leave me alone " Lian released himself and ran to his room,

" Get back here Lian ! Lian!!" he yelled as he pursue Lian to his room.

Cobi walked into a very luxurious building more bigger and fancier than his house, he pushed the door opened in rage lucky for him the man he was looking for was sitting right there in the living room with a newspaper in his hands,

" Don't you ever do that again" he yelled pointing at the man at his early 40s.

" Really is that the first thing you say to your elder, where is your respect?" the man asked in a calm voice as he flipped to the next page,

" I only respect people who deserve it and you clearly don't, so I'm sorry but I lost all the respect for you a long time ago" the man dropped the paper in his hands,

"Starting from now you have a new bodyguard, you'll only go to the places I allow you to go, I don't want what happened yesterday to repeat itself again, do I make my self clear" his voice increased a bit trying to drive home his point,

" its my life you can't cont..." Lian was cut off with a slap on the face,

" you'll do as I say, and that's it, prepare yourself we're leaving in 15 mins or else, you know what I can do, do you.
