Saraphina's POV
"I won't leave you, Saraphina... I will always be here," his voice calm and composed. I felt his hand on my cheeks, caressing it as tears fell from my eyes.
"Please don't leave me," I begged. "Please don't go." He wiped the tears off my cheeks, his smile heartwarming, but the sadness never left his eyes, even when he tried to hide it.
"Please..." I cried. "Don't leave me."
But he was gone.
When I opened my eyes, it was only but a dream, but it didn't stop my heart from beating like a war drum.
I tried so hard to remember the face of the man in my dreams, but all I could remember was just his voice.
I felt too connected to him his voice, the way he called my name and sadness rested in my heart at the thought of losing him. But who was this person?
