AN ACCOMPLICE

" Huh?, a sort of joke is it?, Who would put it in such a costume ?,moreover he or she was so forgetty that it still remains here" Millie tiraded , but her silly mind didn't ever pass a thought that , if ever it was meant for her?

Folding up the paper putting it into her bag , just to preserve ,the so called absurd letter that she hadn't ever seen .

Millie carried the bunny head and walked out to wash her face. She put on the bunny head and took hold of the not so thick bunch of pamphlets ,

"It 's not too much ,I guess, I can complete it by 3 or 4 at evening, If the expected rush pertains?" ,

Millie conversed with her mind.

Heading out of the restroom ,a grun sound from her stomach bought her senses to the fact that she hadn't had any bit of food from morning

" ahh! I am soo hungry "

murmured Millie , hoping to gulp up something from nearby store, fed up, draining out energy, she walked to the front of '?r?????????'.

Looking around ,

" not so crowded ! , but why today?, it's wednesday ,obviously not a holiday ,am i wrong in selecting the place? ,Should I go to the other floor ? "

questions came gushing into her mind, but still hoping the situation ,not to remain the same and to crowd up with time coming, she stood by her stand and waited

she was reluctant to leave the spot as, things there were in favour for her .

To the right was her favorite all-time dream shop, to the left was food stall , to water her burning stomach , the two most important things that could assist her at that moment .

Making up her mind ,she began to bide her time there for people to pass by, all she had to do was ,to hand over the pamphlets to passerby s , but that seemed building up pressure on her , cause beyond her expectations people did behave in a not-so-good manner , some silently collected, some rejected , some just took photos with her, some teased her , Millie was choking inside due to the smell , from outside people were moking , though tough she didn't give up the opportunity , time passed by , the number of pamphlets seem to lessen by time , now remains just two !

"Ah! gosh ,just two more , and my task for the day will be over, by the way, why do people tend to be so rude nowadays? can't they just silently take one and go off ?" Millie muttered , looking beside, on a nearby table she saw ,the most longed moment of her life , her old memory followed up to recognize a long ago parted best friend , Eva, for whom she hadn't left places to search, Millie observed her from distance for a while, for her Eva had changed a lot , not the old self, not as pleasant as before? , she was sitting alone at the table , seemed not waiting, but her mind was definitely conquered by something irritating her .

Millie slowly walked towards her, handing out the pamphlet , not having removed her bunny head , but still, her excitement overflowing inside, the girl looked up, smiled , took the pamphlet ,looked down, Millie didn't take a second to understand something was indeed wrong with her. She stood there without moving and Eva looked up again , again smiled , Millie confirmed whatsoever affected her she still remains the same polite warm-hearted person her

soul remains the same

" Sorry, may I help you, In any way?" Eva enquired .

Millie , smiling took off the bunny head and placed it on the table at front , the instant glow , expressions, gestures on Eva's face depicted as if some angel was standing in front of her , though ironically it was Millie !!

Eva stood up, hugged Millie ,

" Come on! where have you been to ? , I was just thinking of you, don't you have my number? I tried calling you but wasn't available , How are you? , you are fine right? Why are you wearing this?? " ,

innumerable questions being asked, understanding Eva's excitement and happiness , made Millie feel soo better from her past hours treatment , she felt like

Someone cared for her , in this cold-hearted creature world .

Millie interrupting her , said

" Eva calm down , take your seat , indeed I will answer all your questions, but, tell me about you , I want to know what was making you so disheartened ? What were you thinking so keenly ? "

Eva replied,

" yes Millie, you know?, I was searching for you everywhere , what I had been thinking just now was ,a way to somehow reach you " ,

barging into the talk, came a little boy, who was attracted by the bunny head over the table

" sister , I want that" , pleaded the boy , Eva stopping her talk , replied to the boy,

" ciao, nice to meet you! " ,

the boy looking at Eva , then turning to Millie again repeated,

"I want that "

Millie , patiently, putting on the bunny head , talked to the boy ,

" ciao little boy, Sorry I can't lend you my head, But can we have a picture together? "

, the boy jumping with excitement said , "sure, let me take the camera bunny, please wait, "

he ran towards his parents, who at the very next table were having coffee , sitting , chatting , so unbothered , even to be Concerned of what their child was up to ,

" people these days seem to be in their own world " Millie tirades,

Eva nodded, agreeing to it, the boy came back running, as suggested , Millie took a picture with him and gave him the pamphlet , the only one that remained , the boy looking at Millie , said ,

"Thank You bunny ,you are the sweetest" the boy ran off saying that,

Millie smiling, again ,taking off her bunny head she said to Eva ,

" you know, this was my last passerby ,so different from the others I had met the previous hours. I hope that he doesn't get carved out by the bad influences".

Eva , hearing it ,smiled , looking at Millie she replied,

" Yes ,I hope that too , now i want you to lend your ears to me for next few hours , I want you to get changed and let's go the restaurant nearby because obviously , you might be hungry, as you wouldn't have had anything , now, let me treat you today, So I will wait for you here, go get changed and come soon".

Millie hearing this, was so thankful to herself that one thing in her life so far , she had made a great decision of befriending Eva, rushing to the restroom, getting changed within minutes bundling up the costumes into her bag, she set off with Eva to the nearby restaurant, after ordering enough for their appetite's content they returned to their So awaited ,official talk. Eva began ,

"Millie ,after I had left for Milan, things were quite at turn with me , i had always experienced a sort of nightmare that chocked me at times , it was extreme after the incident we faced. I always had my intuition call me out that revenge would be seeked " .

Eva had tears run down her eyes , Millie took out a tissue from her bag and wiped off Eva's tears, meanwhile the paper she had folded in, flew out of her bag and landed near Eva 's foot ,both unaware they continued ,

"it's okay , you can open up , we can solve it together. Meanwhile, why would a dream bother you after all? It's a dream not a reality. "

Millie stressed ,

"Yes", Eva replied , having a voluntary tint of smile on her tear drenched face ,said "you know Millie ,I have a sort of absurd dream, a dream like were one time I see a dog turn to aeroplanes , such unreal things and so on " ,

Millie nodded, " Yeah, I know that "

Eva continue " one day ,I saw the same incident happen , the incident in which we rescued 'Ifa' from that ghostly guy,you remember ? "

Millie ,into a deep thought replied,

" do you remember Eva ,why I was called the nerdy nerd,and mocked over ,cause I can't remember a thing, even though I work hard to study , so my parents hope for a better future , for they think my work will pay off someday, but it hadn't ,still , you know that , moreover I don't keep incidents on my mind , Well..., it just ,doesn't stay for me , it's better You don't wait for my memory , so narrate it from the start".
