“Who is this?” Amber inquired with a tone of sophistication and cheap class when she stopped beside Rose with Melissa trailing behind.
“Jade Evans. Xander’s sister,” Jade introduced herself by waltzing towards Amber and taking her hand though it wasn’t offered.
Amber was taken aback by her brazen attitude but she was more surprised at whom she was, and so was Melissa.
Melissa watched Jade with a snarky eye. She was clearly envious of Jade, who should have been her sister-in-law instead of Rose. Melissa had met Lola, Mason and even Wayne, already, but that was the first time she had met Jade.
