The office was quiet all the way until lunch time. Rose was already done with some of the work and was about to push on with more work when she checked the time and saw that it was lunch time. Everyone stood up with resigned sighs and started chattering as they left for the breaker room and the cafeteria, all except for one particular colleague.
Rose had never noticed him before as he was very reserved and always kept to himself when he worked. What she did notice was that she was left in the room with him and when she turned her head, he quickly looked away as though he had been watching her.
