Leevanna likes to paint. Or at least she has been told she is good at it. It was Wednesday, almost nine o’clock in the morning, and her canvass was still intact. She was staring at it, the black space in her mind taking control of her. And she can’t do anything about it. She doesn’t know what to do. She has a lot of feelings right now, mixed ones. Everyone around her was painting, giggling and chatting. There was a lot of noise. “Hey.” There is a voice. But she can’t get out. There is so much white around her. “You’re Leevanna Vaughan, right?” She nods, once, slow. Tries to go back to reality. The white space is something she doesn’t like. It consumes her whole, from within. She feels paralysed. Venom creeping up her back and rotting her blood. She hears more voices around her
