Amber released her hand after she finished her words. Ingrid fell to the ground.
She was pale. Amber made her scared.
Thinking of the Anderson family and the police, Ingrid lost her voice. She rushed back to her room.
Amber was about to go back to her room, too. But the smell of food from the kitchen stopped her and she didn't eat much at the Anderson's just now. Yesterday was a long day. So, now, she was starving. She went to the kitchen, where two servants were preparing afternoon tea.
"I'm hungry."
Amber said, leaning against the door.
The servants were chatting. Hearing Amber's voice, they stopped. But before they made a response, Amber said, "Prepare some food and send it to my room." Then, she left, caring little about the reaction of the servants.
