CHAPTER FIVE

Hidden Truth.

The Alpha reacted surprisingly. He avoided her and looked at her with disgust.

"You expect me to take responsibility for a child. Don't tell anyone about this, and I want no involvement with it." He responded to her with strong dislike.

Caroline was extremely sad and upset. She was unsure about what actions to take. She felt extremely sad and let down by the person she was meant to be with forever.

That night, Carol listened secretly as the Alpha talked to someone in his close group who was unsure about something. Evansville, showing his real emotions.

"Why do you still have Ainar in your company, even though it seems like you hate her," Evansville asked Adonis.

"I don't care about her at all, my friend. I just want her pretty and nice body. The Alpha told Evansville, his most trusted friend, that he no longer has any feelings or importance attached to Carol.

Carol felt very sad as she listened secretly, understanding how serious her problem was. She understood that she needed to keep herself and her baby safe, even if that meant making friends with people who didn't want her before.

She found a secret diary in the Alpha's hidden rooms while she was cleaning. She was shaking with excitement and felt determined.

The pages had the names of the people he hurt, and they showed the real story of how he sought after power and wanted to become the Alpha at all costs. So he asked some evil forces for help and he got it at a cost.

Some of the names in the dairies belonged to Carol's parents. They were among the people he killed to redeem his pledge to the evil forces.

Devastated, She knew that the Alpha was very cruel, but his extreme cruelty and his agreement with evil forces had made her extremely upset. She felt determined to keep herself and her unborn baby safe.

Feeling sad and scared, Carol decided to tell Mariam Kelly, the Alpha's Mother, who had been nice to her in the pack, about her troubles. She understood that Mariam was her only chance in this dangerous world.

Carol found herself outside Mariam's room, feeling unsure about her decision. She breathed deeply and tapped gently on the door with her knuckles.

The door made a noise and opened slowly. Marian was standing there looking both surprised and worried. "Caroline, why are you here so late? "

She took a brief pause and said, "Ma'am, I need to talk to you about something very important. Can I come in?"

Mariam brought her inside, and Carol started to express her emotions deeply. I discovered something in the secret rooms of the Adonis that scares me a lot. He has made bad deals, and he doesn't want anything to do with me or our child. I am worried about our safety."

Mariam was surprised and intrigued as she listened to Carol's story. "My dear, I had a feeling that something was not right with my son, but I never imagined it was this serious."

Carol started to cry and nodded. "I want to elope, I can't raise my baby in this atmosphere. I came to seek your advice and request your assistance."

Mariam held her shaky hand. "I will do my best to keep you safe, Carol. You don't have to go and my son is not someone you should underestimate. He wants to find another woman to introduce to the pack as his Luna, but I will keep you safe no matter what. Please don't leave with my grandchild. I can't handle being away from you my child".

Carol felt sad when she heard Mariam's words, but she knew she had to do it anyway. "I get it, ma'am. I am ready to do anything necessary to make sure we are safe."

Carol was beginning to feel uncomfortable in the Pack. She can't seem to get anything right. Nobody wants to associate with her, not even the other omegas. It's 6 weeks already and the traits of pregnancy are slowly manifesting.

She secretly made a plan to run away. She understood that Adonis had a lot of power and influence, so she needed to be careful. She took a few things she needed, made a strategy, and waited for the perfect time to start doing it.

The moon created spooky shadows over the pack as Carol was on the verge of eloping. She quietly left the palace using secret paths and went to the stables. There, she kept a faithful horse.

Just as she was about to get on the horse, she heard someone walking towards her. Caroline felt extremely worried and scared, but she stayed calm.

"It's him," she softly said, knowing that the sound of the footsteps belonged to the Alpha. "I need to leave immediately. "

She told the horse to go fast. Caroline held onto it tightly. They ran quickly through the dark forest.

She traveled for days and later found a place to settle in the woods. It was very far from the blood moon pack. She felt comfort in the peaceful isolation of the forest. She looked for food, searched for things to eat, and built a temporary shelter to protect herself from the weather.

She found each day difficult because of her pregnancy, but she kept going because her child's safety was the most important thing to her.

Caroline walked slowly through the thick forest, holding her big belly, when all of a sudden, a group of mad wolves appeared around her.

"Hey, what are you doing in our territory? "A male wolf came out of the trees and was about to attack Carol, but wanted to know her reason for being there.

"I didn't mean to go where I shouldn't. Please, I'm pregnant and just trying to get away from some evil people," she said in a worried and frightened way.

Before the male wolves could attack, a loud and strong voice suddenly spoke, causing the wolves to immediately stop moving forward.

"Leave her alone. Let her be!" A hunter passing by came to her rescue.

The male wolves moved away slowly, and Caroline saw a tall, strong man coming out from a dark place.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. I thought I was in big trouble. Caroline felt relieved.

"You are out of danger now.

Don't worry, those wolves won't bother you anymore," he told her.

With his assistance, he guided her to his modest house located far within the woods.

"I cannot express my gratitude enough for the help you provided in rescuing me." Caroline expressed her thankfulness.

"I am glad I could help. I am Fabio Luis. How about you?"

"I am Caroline. I have been through many difficult times," She shared her ordeal in the blood moon pack.

Fabio was curious about what happened to Caroline and where she came from.

As Caroline told her frightening journey, Fabio listened closely and felt sorry for her.

"You have experienced many difficult situations. Don't worry, Caroline, you're safe in this place. I will help you and support you until you are completely better," Fabio said as he offered her his shoulder to lean on.

A few days later, Fabio took care of Carol and gave her food and a place to stay until she felt better. They talked for a long time next to a warm fire in his comfortable cabin.

"I didn't expect to receive kindness after all the things that have happened." She told him.

Fabio responded to her with a soft voice, saying that there is goodness in the world, even during the hardest of times.

As Caroline became stronger, she also started to feel hopeful again. She couldn't ignore the strong bond she felt with Fabio.

"You have been very nice to me, Fabio." She thanked Fabio and said she didn't know how to thank him.

"Keeping you safe is already appreciated. You and your child should have a better life," Fabio said warmly.

Their eyes connected, and at that instant, Carol felt a small flicker of hope for her baby and herself. She met a friend in the forest who taught her that there are still kind and caring people in the world.

In the Blood Moon Pack, it took them two days to realize that Caroline was not there. Adonis's loyal helper, Evansville, hurried to inform the Alpha.

"Your Majesty, Carol has disappeared,"

"What do you mean, gone?" Adonis asked in disbelief.

"We couldn't find her anywhere in the pack anymore, and other slaves have noticed that she is not there too." Evansville further disclosed.

Adonis suddenly felt very scared. "Search for her and return her to me right now," Adonis ordered.
