I wake up the next day feeling a little better. I decide to text the whole family.
Me: I'm so sorry for not always listening. I promise to do as I'm told from now on.

Simphiwe: I hope you keep your promise.
Mpilo and maDlamini haven't replied. Maybe they won't. But at least I apologised.
Mpilo: This is what we expected you to say when you woke up in that room. Glad you saw your mistake and apologised. Keep your promise!
I decide to text hubby again.
Me: Can one of my cousins come visit me?
Mlondolozi: No problem. When is she coming?
Me: I haven't asked her.
Me to Nonto: Hey cuz. Can you come visit me?
She takes forever to reply. She must be busy. She replies an hour later.
Nonto: You know I'd love to come v
