Chapter Twenty-One Lucy My phone vibrated on the dresser. I’d just finished taking a shower and was tugging a sweatshirt over my head. It was chilly out this late afternoon. After a clear, calm day, clouds had rolled in, bringing a chill along with them. I yanked my sweatshirt down and strolled to the dresser to glance at my phone screen.
