She wiped my tears away and we made our way through the tunnels. I know my uncle got what he wanted but it was only because of that witch. She had my daddy by the throat but the only reason is because of the dark magic I could feel she had all around her I could see it too. Nobody but other witches can see and sense a dark witches dark magic but some how I can even at four years old, there was a rest spot in these tunnels because they went for miles and miles and miles, I was worried, if papa was dead too.. I wasn’t close with his mate my grandma she didn’t show me affection the way papa did or my daddy and mommy, oh daddy… I will miss you, oh moon goddess please take my daddy and his wolf Rex to you they were good and loved me…
I turned to my sleeping mother and rubbed her cheek softy before getting up and looking around sitting in the middle of the tunnels on the floor the cold cold dirt. I was trying to hear anything listen to see if we were safe, and we weren’t. I could hear people in the tunnels and I knew it because other escape hatches led to these same tunnels I quickly woke my mommy and told her we needed to go she didn’t question me because she knew I was a smart pup we ran as fast as we could but for me being so small and my mother being heartbroken we could only go so fast, she was so so heartbroken I know the mate bond is the most amazing thing any wolf could experience.. I looked at my mommy and knew she was only alive for me and some other reason too.. I couldn’t quite figure it out yet, but I would.
We finally came out of the tunnels into and abandoned building in abandoned area my mommy told me we both needed to breathe and clear our heads and be strong so we would live for daddy, AND a baby sister. I knew there was something else but I just didn’t know until she told me just now when I say I was so excited I was so excited. My mother shifted into her wolf Naomi. My big fur mommy, she pushed me with her head telling me to get on her back and I did as she gestured we ran through the forest until some rogue wolves came upon us I pulled my mommy’s ear so she knew exactly what was was happening, we practiced this a one ear pull is rogues and two is a pack. She stopped dead in her tracks snarling and snapping at them, she was a beautiful black female alpha wolf something that’s uncommon most wolves have all different colour brown Coates or even multicolour with brown white and black and grey sometimes grey wolves were rare white wolves were rare and silver wolves they have only ever seen one, and that 400 years ago. I looked at the friendliest looking rogue and pleaded.
“Hi mr wolf our pack was attacked and my daddy and siblings are all dead and my mommy is all i have can you spare us?” I have my puppy eyes and when he stared into my green eye something happened and they all ran away..
I looked at my mommy but she kept on running. I then sensed on other sense but it was a pack this time. I pulled on both Naomi’s ears this time and she stopped but not as fast and didnt show her teeth all she did was gesture for me to get off of her, we couldn’t mind link till I got my wolf and I couldnt wait to get my wolf..
We got approached by maybe 10 warriors at once, my mother shifted to her human form and I started talking before she even got the chance.
“Hi my name is aleena. This is my mommy she is pregnant with my baby sister, she is only able to shift right now at this very late stage and because she is strong but we won’t be able to keep running for long our pack was attacked and we have no where to go, my daddy and all my siblings were murdered.. please spare us.. if we cannot seek shelter here we will have to take shelter elsewhere” I said with as much confidence I could..
“What a smart and intelligent little wolf! I’m amazed you can’t be any older than 5!” The one warrior said
“I am 4 years old today young warrior..” I said to the very obvious 19 year old warrior standing before me, I made him look into my green eye and then began saying ,
“Me and my mother mean no harm we will except any position you place us in as long as we can become a part of the pack and help do whatever we can, we wish to speak to the alpha.” I tried to say it with authority like my father does, and sure enough the warrior said.
“Of course young one, and your name mommy?” He said to my mom with a chuckle
“I’m Diana.” My mother said
“Last name?” The warrior stated.
“It’s kingst-“
“Kingsley” my mother said cutting me off from saying our last name Kingston I didn’t get why tho
“Okay.. Diana Kingsley and Aleena Kingsley, let’s go see alpha Edward brent”
We made it into the pack we talked to alpha and he was very understanding and nice and after I said some words to him he said he would protect us with all he had and he was very sympathetic towards mommy he said his mate was killed in an attack too..
We got named normal wolfs in our pack who would help omegas if we wanted to and we could have a small two bedroom one bathroom home beside the pack house and we agreed to everything and mommy later told me we needed to keep our true identity secret so uncle could never find us and kill the rest of the real royal family off, later that night I thought about a lot of things and couldn’t stop thinking of my daddy.. I will always think of you dad. And Darryl you will always be the best brother someone could have ever had. Before I could go to sleep I went and got some water and some for mommy I found her crying in her bed curled up whispering about daddy and how she loved him and how she would take care of his little wolf and baby, I felt bad watching my mommy cry and I couldn’t watch anymore I knocked on her door and she sniffled and rolled over and gave me a fake smile anyone could notice it, I smiled at her but a real one and handed her a glass of water she knew she should drink it so she did, I was thankful she was trying to be strong for me, losing your mate especially to them dying is like your heart being teared in half.. I kissed my mom and went to bed that night…
