Talon’s hand slid down to mine, fingers intertwining with a spark that made my chest tighten. He led me through the throng of bodies, his presence parting the crowd like a wave. The noise of the party faded into the background as we moved toward a door at the back of the room, one I’d never noticed before. He pulled a set of keys from his pocket and unlocked it with a smooth click, pushing it open and guiding me inside. The air changed as we stepped into a dimly lit hallway. The bass of the music was muffled here, replaced by a heavy silence that felt almost sacred. The walls were lined with framed photos of the club’s history, black and white images of rough, leather-clad men on bikes. Our boots echoed softly on the concrete floor as he led me down the narrow corridor and up a staircase
