“This goddamn rain! Is it planning to follow us all the way to the capital?” Jasper murmured as he let the curtain of the carriage fall down in place. Adeline smiled as the sound of the drops tapping on the ceiling filled the silence. The rain had started the day she had her talk with Eagon - dark clouds hid the sun and poured down such heavy rain, everyone gave up any work outside to seek shelter. It continued raining throughout the night and let up just as they started preparing for the journey.
