When I felt Celeste hugging me, I turned away from the man with her and turned to look at her. I tapped her shoulder and somehow, a small smile crept onto my lips when I faced her. Just like the old times, I saw her death lurking in her eyes. I tried to look intently at it, and just as I expected, I saw the man holding the knife. The man beside her crouched over her dead body and whispered some words. Words that mean you deserve it when you translate it into your native Filipino language. Based on what I saw, the crime that happened to her would never be investigated, and her case would be buried in oblivion. Even though it's not, justice will never be given to her because what comes out of the investigation looks like a suicide attempt. "I f*****g missed you a lot, Charmaine!" she said
