The Alpha's Niece and Her Mate

Chapter 9

On Friday my uncle called us to his office to tell us that we can't train tomorrow. My grandmother is going to be here early the next day. She wants to spend the day with me to catch up. Conor asks if he can shadow me as my bodyguard just as extra precaution. 

My uncle agrees just in case. They won't explain why I need a bodyguard. But I am told that tomorrow I'll understand that my grandmother has the answers I need. So the next day I wake up and get dressed and head down to breakfast while I wait for my grandmother. 

As I am waiting maddison comes in with her b***h squad. Next thing I know she comes up to me. “You need to stay away from conor. He is mine. My brother likes you. Conor is going to Alpha and doesn't have time to babysit a nobody with no parents.” she says. As she says that about my parents I growl at her and loud. I made the room shake. “DON'T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT MY PARENTS.” I yell. 

As I yell I see Conor, my uncle and aunt and my grandmother walk in. Everyone is pissed. But as I'm yelling I didn't notice that I made everyone but my uncle and aunt bow their heads and bare their necks to me. I had a lot of power in my voice that I didn't know I had.

I was shocked. I stopped and looked around. “I'm sorry Alpha and Luna.” I say as I bow my head to them. I look next to them and say “Hi grandma. I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell.” “Oh sweet child, no reason to be sorry. We understand what happened.” she says.

As we walk away I hear maddison say “conor where are you going? You have the day off from training. I thought we would spend the day at the lake.” “I'm sorry Alpha has me working today.” he tells her as we walk away.

We went to my uncle's office. We all sit down and Conor stands by me. My uncle's office is sound proof so no one will hear what we talk about. My grandmother starts talking first “thank you Alpha and Luna for taking in Bon-Bon and helping her understand about her wolf. But now I must also press her to start training with me.” 

“What do you mean train with you?” I ask. “You do not know?” she asks while looking at my uncle. “I thought it would be best if you told her not us.” he answers her. “OK then. Bon-Bon you are a hybrid. Part wolf from your father and part witch from your mother. You are the most powerful being in the world.” she says.

“I'm sorry. I don't understand. My mom was human. She wasn't a powerful witch.” I say. “Yes he was next in line to be the leader of our coven. Yall were to start your training after you turned 18 but then they died.” im told. Ok we keep talking and then there is a knock at the door. “Come in,” my uncle says.

In walks a pack warrior he looks to my uncle and bows his head. “Sorry Alpha to interrupt, but a rogue dropped off this letter addressed to you.” he says. He gives the letter to my uncle and leaves. My uncle wonders what this is about. We all do. You should open it, my grandmother says. 

He opens it and then he reads it outloud. 

Dear Alpha,

You have someone living with you that is mine. She is my mate. And I know she is here. I have seen her. I can smell her. You will give her to me in one month. No more if you do not then I will see that as an act of war and attack your pack. 

You can not keep her from me. She is mine. Her name is bonnie. I found her once before and her parents wouldn't give her to me because she wasn't 18. But I know she had her birthday. Again you have one month to make up your mind. Until then.

The rouge Alpha

What the hell. Everyone is yelling conor grabs me growling saying mine over and over again. My uncle gets him to calm down. As soon as he is calm he looks to my grandmother. “Ok while she needs training i want to offer you a place on pack grounds. That way she can train with you and conor.” he says. Everyone agrees. “Conor you will not leave my niece alone ever. You will stay with her always. Do you understand?” “Yes Alpha.” “I think we should tell the pack.” my aunt says. “I think you are right, my love,” says my uncle. “We will announce it at dinner”

We stayed in the office a little longer before we went to dinner. We decided to tell the pack that I am Conor's mate and that I'm Alpha and Luna’ niece. I dont think it's going to go well with some pack members. As we walk in maddison tries to grab Conor and have him sit with her and her friends. But he shakes her off to sit with us at the Alphas table.

When everyone comes in my uncle stands up making everyone get quiet. “Thank you all for your attention. I have a few things that we need to discuss. I thought you had a right to know. Bonnie isn't just a pack member, she is my niece. Her father was my brother. He left our pack to be with his mate who was a very powerful witch.” he says then he paused for a minute.

“And I wanted to let you all know that her grandmother will be staying on the grounds to help her learn how to use her powers. She isnt a danger so do not worry.” he stops and takes a breath then says. “I am happy to say she found her mate on her birthday. It is Conor.” Next thing we know we hear Maddison scream and run out of the room crying.
