The Alpha's Niece and Her Mate

Chapter 2

After breakfast Renee took me to my uncle's office. I knocked and waited. A minute later I heard him say come in. I walked in and greeted him and my aunt. “Good morning uncle, good morning aunt”, I said. “Good morning Bonnie”, they said. “I hope you slept well my dear.” my aunt said. “Fine but I'm still having bad dreams about what happened.” I answered.

My aunt looked sad when I said that and gave me a long hug like my mom used to. I started to get misty eyed. I really miss my mom. My aunt saw my eyes tearing up and started to say how sorry she was. I told her not to be that because her hug reminded me of my mom. And I told her thank you that I needed that hug. It made me feel better.

After the hugs and tears we got down to business. My uncle said “With my birthday in just 2 weeks we have a lot to catch up on that my parents probably didn't tell me.” “First thing you need to know is that you are a werewolf, your dad was one. He met your mom who is human and left the pack but on your 18th birthday you will shift for the 1st time.” he goes on to say. I start laughing. When I look at him and my aunt they aren't laughing. “You're joking, right?” I say looking at them. “No we aren't. Everyone that you have met are werewolves and everyone that goes to your school.” my uncle says.

I am so lost and confused. “I know you are confused and we can explain more if you want or you can take a minute to get your thoughts together.” says my aunt. “I want to know more.” I say. “Ok then, I am the alpha, the leader and Siobhan is the luna my mate.” my uncle/alpha says to me. “I have no children so you are next in line to lead the pack. But dont worry Im not stepping down anytime soon.”

“When you turn 18 you will get your wolf as well as meet your mate. Your mate is like your soulmate, the one that was made for you by the moon goddess. Your mom was your dad's mate that is why he chose to leave the pack.” my aunt/luna says. “Ok well this is a lot to take in. Can I have just a minute to think?” I ask. “Of course my dear.” my aunt/luna says.

I walk out to the back of the house to catch my breath. As I am standing there looking up to the sky and breathing a guy comes up and starts talking to me. “You're new here right?” he says. “Yeah, I just moved here last night to live with my aunt and uncle.” I answer. “Cool My name is Adam. It's nice to meet you. Will you be starting school soon?” Adam says “My name is Bonnie, yes I believe I start in the morning.” I replied.

“Well I'll see you around.” I say and head back to my uncle's office. I knocked and told to enter. “Ok so you are the leaders, who else is in charge?” I ask getting straight to the questions.

“Well there is the Bata couple and the Gamma couple. The Batas are Michael aka Mike and his mate Georgia they have one son Conor. The Gammas are Thomas aka Tommy and his mate Isabelle aka Belle and you already met their daughter Renee.” my uncle answers.

As soon as he stopped talking there was a knock on the door. “Come in,” he says. In walks 2 couples with their kids behind them. “I am the Bata Mike and this is my mate Georgia and Son Conor” says the man that looks like he is in his late 30’s brown hair and eyes, the woman next to him is blond curly hair and hazel eyes and about 5’5”. But what really caught my eye was their son. He was at least 6 foot or 6.5 foot tall. Nice tan light brown hair a nice mixture of his parents hair, his eyes were so blue it was like looking into the ocean. I mean OMG a greek god. “Hi”, he said. I just stood there with my mouth open like an i***t.

“I'm the Gamma Tommy and this is my mate Belle. You met your daughter Renee. Welcome to the pack.” says the man with black hair and green eyes. His mate has flaming red hair and bright green eyes. I see where Renee gets her looks from. My uncle then says, “Thank you all for coming in to welcome and introduce yourselves. This is my niece Bonnie. She will be living here from now on and starting school tomorrow. Please make her feel welcome and make sure she is respected at all times. Thank you that is all” 

The whole time he was speaking I kept feeling like I was being watched. I look over and Cane is just staring at me. When my uncle said we could leave I went with Renee to my room. When we got there I started to ask questions. “Ok so how old are you?” I asked her. “18” she says, “how old are you?” “17 but my birthday is in just a few weeks.” I answered her. “Do you have a mate?” I ask her. “Not yet but I hope I meet him soon.” she answers. “How old is Conor?” I ask. “18” she says. “Does he have a mate?” I can't help but ask. She looks at me with a big grin on her face. “No, he hasn't met his mate yet.” she answered.

Conor POV

I just finished morning training with the pack. After I showered and got dressed I went down to breakfast. When I walked in I smelt something so mouth watering I almost couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Then I saw her, she must be new. She smells like morning dew and before a rain storm with a hint of jasmine. I knew right away that she was my mate. But she didn't even look my way. Could she not smell me? Was she not of age? She looks like she is 18.

I was called by my father the Bata after breakfast. He wanted to tell me that the Alphas niece just moved into the pack. He told me that she has no idea about werewolves or anything. And that the Alpha is going to explain it to her soon then we are to go and introduce ourselves to her. “Ok father, I will come and meet her. Can I ask how old she is?” I ask him. “17, almost 18 her birthday is a few weeks away,” he answers.

So after a few hours my father called me. I met him at the Alphas office. We wait for just a few minutes then we are joined by the Gamma family. My father knocks on the door and we hear the alpha say come in. As soon as the door opens I am hit with her scent again and I'm at a loss. My mate is Alphas niece. My Father is speaking. I can't hear him but I'm not listening. My eyes are on her. As soon as my father stops talking I step up and say “Hi.” She just stares at me with her mouth open and doesn't speak. I laugh to myself.

Then the Gamma introduces himself and his family. But the whole time I can't take my eyes off of her. She is 5’2” im guessing with hair as smooth as silk and the color of copper. Her eyes are a honey color and shine like amber. When the Gamma isn't speaking the Alpha tells us her name is Bonnie and it sounds like the name of an angel. He also mentions her now living in the pack house and starting school. I can't wait till she turns 18 and then she will know that I am her mate. 

I head to the dinning room to grab lunch and find Maddison and her minions. Next thing I know they are sitting at the table with me. Maddison is talking but I don't hear a word she says. All I can do is think of my mate and her beauty. I wonder what her voice sounds like when I smell her walk in. I look and she is with Renee. I hear her laugh and it's like an angel is singing. 

Maddison looks where I am looking. “Who is she? Must be an Omega. Look how she dresses and how plain she is.” Maddison says. I growl at her and tell her to shut up. “She is no Omega she is the Alphas niece.” I told her. I then get up and walk out before I beat Maddison for talking bad about my mate.
