  Selene's POV   I avoided him, but it didn't work.   For two days, I made sure of it.   I left rooms when Adrian entered. Took different corridors when I saw him at the far end of one. Skipped meals until the hall was nearly empty just to avoid crossing paths.   It felt stupid.   It felt childish.   But after what happened with Logan—after what I had felt, after the way everything inside me had stopped the second Adrian appeared—I could not stop thinking about it.
