I had been standing in the full court for less than ten minutes when I felt it.
The assembly was exactly what I expected—loaded with silence, eyes moving without heads turning. I had walked in beside Adrian and everyone had gone quiet.
King Asher stood at the head of the room. He addressed the court briefly about this morning's incident, the facts, nothing beyond what was necessary. No judgment. No drama.
