  Selene's POV   I expected to feel some kind of relief when I stepped out of my room, but I didn't.   The corridor looked exactly the same as it always did—guards in place, servants moving quietly, everything arranged with that same control the court never seemed to lose. Nothing had changed on the surface, nothing that should have made a difference.   But the moment I walked into it, I felt the attention.   It followed me in a way that didn't need to be obvious to exist. Conversations didn't stop, movements didn't pause, but something had changed—enough to make it clear I wasn't being ignored anymore.   I kept walking, my pace steady, my expression neutral. Yesterday, they had looked through me like I didn't belong here. Now, they were watching like I mattered too much.   A servant
