  Selene's POV   No one called me to train.   At first, I thought maybe I had missed the summons.   Maybe Rowan had come while I was asleep, or maybe the timing had changed and no one thought to tell me.   But as the morning stretched into afternoon and no one came, the silence around it began to feel deliberate.   I stood near the window of my room, staring down into the open courtyard below where movement carried on like normal. Servants crossed the stone paths with lowered heads.
