“Wake up! wake up! come on time for school.”
My mom wakes me up from my dream.
i forgot we start at our new school today. I just wanted to sleep in for a little, then again, Maliene would want me with her so she's not alone. I sit up on my bed and notice my clothes are set out on the bedframe. A pair of skinny, ripped jeans, and a blue floral blouse. I grab them and head to the bathroom to get dressed. It looks good on me, ill curl my hair and maybe throw on a little makeup. When I open my bedroom door I immediately smell eggs.
God, I hate eggs.
“Maria come eat”
“Taking a banana. I'll be in the car”
I walk out the door and wait in the car for my mom and Maliene.
We pull up to the school. Maliene and I start walking to the front doors.
“I already hate it”
“We aren't even in the building yet, you can hate it when we get home”
When we walk into the office they hand Maliene and i, our schedules.
