ISAIAH The night was completely quiet as I sat in the packhouse meditation room. My deep breathing couldn't ease the heavy tension I felt in the air, and I could feel something coming; not just the uneasiness that persisted after Azure's unexpected appearance earlier that evening but something deeper, more ancient, and it gnawed at the edges of my mind.
