"HAYLEY! RUN!" my father yelled using his Alpha command.

I ran through the forest as fast as I could for a 10 year old as my mother and father protected me fighting off the rouge wolves that were attacking the pack. After 20 minutes of running I arrived at the pack border. I fell to the ground completely breathless, that's when I felt it.

'SNAP'

"AHH" I screamed out in pain as I felt the connection to the pack break. The realisation that ll of my family and friends, my mother and father the Alpha and Luna of the pack are all dead, now completely alone.

"I found you," an unfamiliar voice spoke. I look up with tears running down my face I see a women dressed in black kneeling in front of me.

"Who are you?" I ask breathlessly.

" I'm Clarrissa and you dear Hayley now belong to me." With that she grabbed wrist and traced a crescent moon with her finger and chanted something under her breath when she was finished all I could do was scream as she branded me as her own.

Present Day (Thursday)

Hayley Pov

I wake in a cold sweat waking from the nightmare that haunted me every night. There was a knock on the door. I jump out of bed and change quickly.

"Come in," I yelled as I headed towards the door. The door opens and Hansel walks in. He is another of my masters assassin's.

"Whats up Hansel?" I greet him

"Mistress Clarrissa would like to see you in her office looks like your going on another mission." Hansel replies and walks back out across the hall to his room.

I quickly put my boots on and tie my hair into a high pony tail and rush to masters office and knock once infront of the door.

"Come in," I heard as I knocked on the door.

"You called for me master," I ask as I walk in and sit in front of her desk.

"I did my child, as of Monday you will be attending high school for your last term of senior year in California where you will be going under cover to get close to your next targets." Master Clarrissa says while handing me a folder. "These are your next targets Hayley but be careful they are Alpha twins to be precise and don't take well to rouges though there school allows humans and rouges. Now go and pack you leave for California tomorrow I have set up accommodation the address is on the bottom of the file." I nodded as I left for my room.

My name is Hayley Addison and I'm 18 years old over the past 8 years as I served my master I learned that master Clarrissa was a dark witch and was the one who sent the rouges to slaughter my entire pack when I was ten. She has trained me to be the ultimate assassin. I'm not proud of what I have done killing people from slave traders to drug lords even the accasional werewolf or Alpha. Like I said not really proud on killing my own kind but can't do much about it because if I don't obey her she uses the brand she gave me against me making it sizzle and cause extreme pain. Unlike normal werewolves who receive there wolf counterparts at the age of 16 I received mine at the age of 15 years old her name is Holly. Then I ended up shifting on the next full moon after receiving Holly . After I shifted Master Clarrissa was very happy and told me I was a very rare would called a midnight wolf which are only born every 500 years and have incredible magical abilities. So far I can mask my scent to blend in as a human and able to read minds/ telepathy to all creatures of the supernatural world and unsupernatural. It is written that when I meet my mate after turning 18 I will receive another power.

'My mate,' I thought 'my only saviour who can release me from this branded curse'.

You see in my travels for my master on assassination requests I met a high level white witch who told me the only one to break this brand is my mate and once he marks me I will be released.

Reaching my room I gather all necessary items clothes toiletries and weapons which are a few knife's but my main weapons of choice are my double katana blades and my bow and arrows. Once I finish packing I slumped on my bed and fell asleep.
