Lynne's POV:
I turned my head and was surprised to see the elderly Lavinia had arrived.
At the nearby coffee table, Michelle was holding her phone and flashing me a smug smile. Clearly, she had notified Lavinia, and it was obvious this was intentional on her part.
"Lavinia, I haven't done anything wrong. This is my choice," I said.
"But I've been waiting for you and Warren to remarry. Otherwise, I would have already handed over Sterling Group to his cousin," Lavinia replied.
The cousin Lavinia referred to was Michelle's son.
It seemed that Michelle had called Lavinia to make her lose confidence in Warren, with the hope of having Sterling Group handed over to her son to manage.
But none of this concerned me. I didn't care at all who took over Sterling Group.
