Lynne's POV: When Aaron picked up the phone, Merry’s cries came loud and clear. The little girl, sobbing, said her mommy was lying in the bathtub, and there was so much blood in the water. Clara, it seemed, had attempted suicide. “Merry, don’t be scared. Uncle Aaron will be back soon. You just stay in the living room...” Aaron hung up, swiftly spun the steering wheel, and turned the car around.
