Laura had finished preparing everything, and Aaron, wearing an apron, got to work in the kitchen.
"I can only imagine how happy Katherine used to be. My ex-husband never stepped into the kitchen—he always thought the kitchen was a woman's domain..." I stood beside Aaron, watching him skillfully manage everything.
"I loved preparing delicious meals in the kitchen with Katherine," Aaron's voice grew somber. "It made our life feel sweet, so full of love. Unfortunately, those days lasted less than a year before my Katherine... went to heaven."
